Apple TV: Apple Intelligence is coming – via Siri AI
Hints in macOS 27 suggest a rollout of the chatbot assistant on Apple’s TV box. However, this will likely require a new model.

Apple is preparing the launch of Apple Intelligence on a new platform. In the future, the AI system, presumably as part of Siri AI, is expected to become part of tvOS 27 for the first time. This is evident from strings and other materials found in the beta version of macOS 27 and Xcode 27, respectively. However, there is a downside: This will likely only work with new, significantly faster Apple TV models that have not yet been released.
Small self-leak in Xcode 27
The hints about Apple Intelligence or Siri AI are located in the so-called Device Hub, which is part of Apple’s programming environment Xcode. In the app list for tvOS 27, information about Siri appears there that was not previously present. According to the Apple blog 9to5Mac, the string name listed here is “com.apple.campo”.

The “Campo” in turn likely stands for “Campos,” as Apple internally called Siri AI. In tvOS 26, however, no Siri hints can be found. The hints also suggest that Apple is likely planning its Siri app for tvOS. This already exists for macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and even – to the surprise of observers – watchOS. The “Campo.app” belonging to Siri cannot currently be used in Device Hub, which is not surprising.
Siri AI and Apple Intelligence as a selling point
Apple has reportedly been ready to launch new Apple TV models for months. However, the appropriate software is still missing, and the company is apparently waiting for the tvOS 27 release in September. The new Apple TV hardware is expected to come with a new remote control and, above all, a faster SoC that is capable of Apple Intelligence for the first time – it would have to be at least an A17 Pro (from the iPhone 15 Pro).
The Siri AI features are also likely to serve as a selling point for Apple, as the new hardware itself is not very exciting. Rumors that the new Apple TV will also include an integrated camera have not been mentioned in recent months, so the form factor is unlikely to change much. With an Apple Intelligence-capable chip, Apple can also execute parts of the Siri AI requests directly on the device. The company has AI models of various sizes.
