Netflix and Rockstar Games have released their pre-announced gameplay video from “GTA 6”. The video is 25 minutes long and shows various gameplay scenes from the upcoming action game. Those who don’t want to know anything about the story beforehand should better skip the video.
A compilation of various gameplay scenes and cutscenes is shown, loosely following the main plot. It also includes impressions from several different game elements: car races, shootouts, strength training. The presentation is on a cinematic level, and the material appears technically strong.
All scenes were recorded on the Playstation 5, as declared in the video. Whether the regular console or the more powerful Playstation 5 Pro was used is not definitively clear from this statement. .

Six hours of exclusivity
The video will initially be exclusive to Netflix, and will only be released on Rockstar’s YouTube channel and the “GTA” website six hours later, on Friday night.
It has been known since the beginning of the month that Rockstar is showing its first detailed gameplay video behind the Netflix paywall first. The streaming service is staging the premiere like a sports broadcast. The series has reach anyway: The first “GTA 6” trailer in December 2023 garnered 90 million views on YouTube within 24 hours and, according to Guinness World Records, holds the record for the most-watched video game reveal.

)The premiere was preceded by a week full of leaks. Since August 18, an unknown person under the name “Cyberleek” has been releasing video clips from an unfinished version of “GTA 6”. Rockstar has commented on the incidents in a statement, describing the leaks as painful for the team.
“GTA 6” will be released on November 19 for Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Rockstar has not yet announced a PC version.
