New Apple Products: What to Expect in October
Up to ten new devices could be presented by Apple this month. However, only two have actually been announced so far.

Autumn continues to be Apple’s most important announcement period of the year. The new iPhone is always presented in September, followed by Macs and/or accessories and iPads in October. This could be the case this year as well, with a well-stocked pipeline of upcoming products. An overview of what we expect in the coming weeks.
Already known: iPhone Duo and Mac Studio with lots of memory
In total, at least ten new devices could be released this fall. Two products are already known: the iPhone Duo and a particularly powerful variant of the Mac Studio M5 Ultra with 512 GByte, which complements the existing lineup with up to 256 GByte. The foldable device will be available for pre-order next week (October 16) and will be delivered starting October 23. There is no date yet for the Mac Studio with half a terabyte of unified memory, which could cost well over 15,000 euros – all that is certain is that Apple announced it for October.

Three more Mac models are also pending, but so far only the rumor mill knows about them: a MacBook Pro (or “Ultra“) with an OLED display, touchscreen and a lighter design based on the M5 Pro and M5 Max chips with 14 and 16 inches, a 14-inch MacBook Pro with M6, and an iMac M6. We expect these to be introduced by the end of the month; it is unclear whether the first deliveries will be made this month or slip into November.
The second hardware wave in October
For the iPad, a new iPad mini 8 is currently expected. The main innovation is said to be an OLED screen, changes in speaker arrangement and camera placement, as well as a faster chip (possibly A19 Pro). And then there’s the big Home announcement: Apple is reportedly planning to introduce a home control device (“Home Hub”) on October 13, either for wall mounting or for standing with a speaker base. In line with this, according to leaks in Apple’s own software, new HomePod mini 2 models (new colors, old design, faster System-in-Package) and a new Apple TV 4K (faster chip and Siri AI) are finally coming.
However, we will probably have to wait a little longer for an iPad 12 with better chip performance and Apple Intelligence. It also remains unclear how Apple will make the announcement. We currently expect several videos to be published at relatively short notice. Otherwise, Apple would have to send out invitations to an event very soon.
