New Over-Ears from Apple Subsidiary: Details on Beats 360 on Amazon UK
It has been known for a long time that new top headphones from Beats will be released soon. Now all technical data has briefly leaked.
New Beats 360: A bit like the AirPods Max – but only a bit.

For months, it has been clear that Apple subsidiary Beats is working on new over-ear headphones. Placed leaks with sports celebrities on Instagram have prepared the public for it. Now the e-commerce giant Amazon has revealed further details, this time apparently unintentionally. The devices appeared on the British website of the company with full details. The name is also now known: they will be called Beats 360. In addition to good sound promised by the manufacturer, the new models particularly shine with their configurability: not only can the ear pads be swapped, as has been known from Apple’s AirPods Max for a long time, but also the headband. Furthermore, the devices are explicitly intended for sports use, which is not the case with the AirPods Max.
More plastic than the AirPods Max
The information available on Amazon UK was saved on Reddit, among other places, before the corresponding page was taken offline again. At least four different colors are planned: a white-silver tone, black, “Sky” and a pink/rose (see image). The design is new for Beats, so it’s not just a new version of the well-known Studio Pros. Instead, the look appears to be a combination of AirPods Max and Beats, with the Beats 360 having significantly more plastic.

The ear pads and headband are made of a mesh material (“Performance Knit”), and there is also said to be a softer “UltraPlush” option. Beats also sells ear pads and headbands separately; here, further colors such as “Volt” and “Navy” appeared. The Beats 360 are said to be sweat and water-resistant (IPX4). New ANC promises stronger noise cancellation, reportedly “1.75 times stronger” than the Studio Pros. The ear pads cover the entire ear – as is usual with over-ears – which already provides stronger physical isolation. The battery is said to last a day even with ANC.
Fast pairing also with Android
There is “one-touch pairing” for configuration for both Apple devices and Android. Controls (volume, multifunction button, power button, and audio mode) are integrated into the earcups. The Beats 360 can be folded flat. Apple’s latest H2 audio chip is apparently not included.
Prices for the Beats 360 have not yet leaked. The Studio Pro models currently cost a hefty 400 euros at Beats itself in Germany, but can also be found in retail for half that price. The Beats 360 are expected to be officially released in the coming weeks.
