Police in an eastern German town on Sunday pulled over four men driving a BMW convertible that had been converted into a motorized swimming pool. Despite their creativity, at least one could be facing charges for being drunk behind the wheel.
A motorcycle cop pulled over an unusual car in the town of Eibenstrock near Chemnitz in the eastern state of Saxony on Sunday. Four men had transformed a 300-series BMW convertible into a driving swimming pool. Police reported the vehicle could reach speeds of up to 25 kilometers per hour (15 mph).

The outside is covered in 5 euro plastic flowers purchased at a DIY shop that give the car a slight Hawaiian feel. The inside has been sealed with synthetic material and filled with about 2,000 liters of water.

Police said the driver and passengers appeared to be drunk. One of the passengers told the tabloid daily Bild, "The tour was a stupid idea. It was he first time we drove on a street and we just wanted to have a little fun."
