Photo Gallery Death in Bořislavka
Just after the capitulation of the Nazis at the end of World War II, several German civilians were rounded up near Prague and shot. Now, a video of the incident has turned up.
Following the Nazi capitulation at the end of World War II, millions of Germans were kicked out of Czechoslovakia. Thousands were also murdered. A video of one mass execution recently turned up in Prague and was shown on television.
The video is just seven minutes long and shows 40 men and at least one woman shot to death as they stood at the edge of a meadow. One after the other, they slumped to the ground.
The bodies were then crushed by a Red Army truck and thrown into a mass grave in the meadow. The film is the clearest evidence yet of Czech excesses following the end of World War II.
