About 2,200 South Korean volunteers gathered in front of Seoul City Hall on Thursday to make Kimchi, a cabbage-heavy mixture of pickled vegetables that is an essential part of the Korean diet. The annual event is a food-drive of sorts for the needy. The event produces about 270 tons of kimchi that will be shared between more than 20,000 households.
