Photo Gallery Linking Up With E-Bookworms
Traditionally, reading has been a solitary activity, but two Berlin-based Swedes plan to change this. They're close to launching new software called Readmill, which promises to create a social network for bookworms to share their reading habits, margin notes and recommendations.
Flickr founder Caterina Fake inspired Readmill founders Henrik Berggren and David Kjelkerud with her annotated copy of James Joyce's 'Ulysses.'

Their program allows readers to mark and comment on book passages, engendering online discussion.
Users can also add new books to the Readmill virtual library with just a few clicks.
The public list of e-books and reader progress is also announced through the Readmill.
Friends in a reading group can comment on the progress and opinions of their fellow bookworms. "Ultimately, Readmill is about discovering books," Kjelkerud says.
