Photo Gallery Mission Accomplished?
A YouTube user thinks he has caught the White House in yet another lie. Problem is though, it's the YouTube user himself who is lying.
This is the image everyone remembers. The US president on the deck of the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln on May 1, 2003 -- with the banner "Mission Accomplished" behind him.

Here's the video you see on the White House Web page. The banner is gone, but instead, there is a black bar at the bottom of the image. Video blogger Mike McIntee will have us believe that the White House has deliberately manipulated the video.
Not true, in fact. All White House videos, as another YouTube user has pointed out, have the black bar to cover up the logos of the network where the videos originated. Plus, it was taken from a completely different angle.
