Ever needed to make that important phone call on the beach, but your mobile phone was out of juice? Now, a solar-powered swimsuit has been developed to supply all your sun-bathing energy needs.
The new solar swimsuit: the perfect way to lie on the beach without having to recharge your phone and iPod beforehand.
Spanish synchronized swimming star Gemma Mengual modeled the new swimsuit earlier this week in Valencia. Manufacturer Triumph says you can even swim in it.
Triumph wasn't the only manufacturer looking to develop high-tech bathing wear. American designer Andrew Schneider is attempting to perfect a solar bikini. So far, though, it hasn't developed beyond the prototype phase.
So far, Triumph hasn't said when the suit will go into production nor what it might cost.
