A sperm whale art installation by the Belgian artist collective Captain Boomer lies on the shore of the Thames River in Greenwich near London. The 17-meter (almost 60-foot) long fiberglass whale, surrounded by performers appearing to conduct scientific investigations, aims to draw attention to London's whaling history and the increasing number of whales and dolphins spotted along the British coastline.
