Waiting for a bus? Getting a bit of fresh air? Nope. This group is doing some serious protesting, manning a barricade erected in front of the seized reginal government building in Donetsk. Counterparts in the eastern Ukraine cities of Kharkiv and Luhansk likewise occupied government buildings. Protesters in Donetsk also declared the creation of a separatist republic and said a referendum was being planned for May allowing residents to vote on whether they wanted to remain part of Ukraine or not. "An anti-Ukrainian plan is being put into operation ... under which foreign troops will cross the border and seize the territory of the country," Prime Minister Arseny Yatseniuk told a cabinet meeting in Kiev. "We will not allow this."
