Picture This Royal Wedding Crasher
The royal wedding which paired Prince William and Kate Middleton on April 29 was planned down to the most minute detail. From Kate's Sarah Burton dress to the kiss on the Buckingham Palace balcony, every element was painstakingly coordinated -- and subsequently dissected by an apparently romance-starved press. Through the veil of a perfectly planned dream wedding, however, real world elements managed to peek through.
An unexpected wedding guest came in the form of a neon pink "wiggly worm," which ended up on the finger of one of the younger bridesmaids. Three-year-old Eliza Lopes steals the show in the royal wedding portrait with her bright pink accessory in hand. Prince Harry, known for his sense of humour, gave Eliza the toy earlier in the day to keep her smiling throughout the overwhelming affair. Cost of a wiggly worm is about one Pound ($1.65), making Eliza's accessory the only thing seen at the royal wedding that any commoner could afford.
