The Earthrace eco-boat, shown above, is preparing to set sail on a round-the-world voyage to raise awareness for environmental and sustainable energy issues. Beginning in March, crew members will attempt to break the time record for a powerboat to circumnavigate the globe running on 100-percent biodiesel fuel. Organizers say the boat's voyage will have a net zero carbon footprint.
