Hardy beachgoers sunbathe Tuesday behind a wall of hay bales on Dauphin Island, Alabama. The wall was erected in an effort to absorb any oil from the current Deepwater Horizon spill that may wash ashore. The Gulf Coast is expecting a poor summer tourism season because of the hazardous oil slick.
