The captain of a boat in the Spreewald -- an area southeast of Berlin known for its canals -- looks at the art instillation "Drop by Drop" by Italian artist Anna Maria Massa on Friday. The installation is comprised of 100 water-filled plastic bags, which are meant to draw attention to the scarcity of the essential resource. Fourteen artists from eight countries have installed artworks in the outdoor Aquamediale festival in the town of Lübben. Aquamediale runs until Sept. 5.
