A torn copy-cat poster, based on a graphic developed by artist Shepard Fairey's for the US presidential campaign, shows French President Nicolas Sarkozy with the slogan, "Yes We Can" in Paris on Tuesday. The conservative UMP political party and the Elysee Palace have denied being at the source of the posters which carry political messages in the form of questions, including "Save €1,000 per year for each household ?" and "Make Companies who Pollute Pay?"
