Picture This Olympian Twirl

Dance spectacle: A dancer twirls so fast at Rome's Teatro Olimpico she could drill a hole in the floor. She's part of the show "Botanica," a dance production by Momix, a dance troupe created by American choreographer Moses Pendleton in the early 1980s.
Pendleton choreographed the closing ceremonies at the Lake Placid Winter Olympics in 1980. And even if the 2010 Games aren't taking place in Italy, this show is at least providing Romans with a bit of Olympic feeling. The only thing missing, it seems, is a pair of ice skates.
