Dutch Queen Beatrix on Thursday goes to lay a white rose at a new monument in Apeldoorn to commemorate the seven parade-goers who were killed during Queen's Day celebrations April 30, 2009. The attacker, an unemployed recluse, stunned Holland by attempting to drive his car into the royal family's bus during a parade. Instead, the attacker drove through a crowd of spectators and into a stone monument. He died the next day from injuries sustained in the crash.
