Some 200 demonstrators gathered in front of Berlin's Brandenburg Gate on Thursday to protest against child abuse. The scene was meant to rouse passers-by to think about the recent child-abuse scandal in Germany, as increasing numbers of reports of abuse have been emerging from schools, orphanages and foster homes. Among the sights was a cross bearing dolls nailed to it and a sign reading "In the Name of God the Lord" as well as a massive puppet of a nun with "Never Again" written across her habit and waving a stick at the crowd.
