Animals get to enjoy the festive season, too. Children all over Europe will wake up on Dec. 6 to find their shoes brimming with sweets and chocolates -- brought to them by St Nicholas. The tradition is also apparently practiced in the Hagenbeck Zoo in Hamburg. Here a ring-tailed lemur enjoys a boot filled with apples, nuts and raisons. It's the sharing part he hasn't quite mastered yet.
