Pool chairs are sunk for safety at a hotel in Cairns in northern Queensland, Australia on Wednesday in preparation for Cyclone Yasi. The storm has been described as the most powerful ever to hit Queensland, with winds forecast to reach up to 300 kilometers per hour (190mph). At least 90,000 people in Queensland are already without power as driving rains and winds lash the area.
