People walk through one of the rooms in the Italian pavilion at the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai, China, on Tuesday. This room is intended to resemble a covered piazza, or central square, and it will showcase Italian music, fashion and architecture. The design of the whole pavilion is intended to replicate the intricate architecture of an Italian city, and each of of the irregularly shaped rooms can be dismantled and reconstructed elsewhere. The World Expo opens May 1 and runs until Oct 31. Organizers expect about 70 million people to attend.
