The firm of Samuel Ackermann and Co., Inc. is not one of the big New York Lawfirms but a firm which, with the help and advice of German and American lawyers employed or retained, specializes in the restitution of firms and property and the management and realization of such property.
The undersigned, Dr. Walter A. Kellog, is president of this firm and a Board member of the American Association of Former European Jurists, but not president of the New York Bar Association.
Our fee is considerably below the amount stated.
Last and most important: While the undersigned had occasion to discuss this and other important restitution matters with High Commissioner McCloy, there is no truth to the
reference of his alleged visit to our offices nor to the implication that we asked him to use his influence in this matter.
